Lammi Sports Management congratulates exclusive clients Donald Driver and Devin Hester on being named to the NFC Pro Bowl Team in 2007. Driver will be making his third trip to Hawaii and Hester his second in as many years.

While Driver has led the playoff bound Packers in receptions and receiving yards. Hester has taken the NFL by storm once again leading the league in kick returns.

With a 7-yard pass from Brett Favre in the fourth quarter against the Rams, exclusive client Donald Driver was on the receiving end of the pass that put Brett Favre as the NFL's all-time leader in passing yardage, breaking Dan Marino's mark of 61,361 yards.

"It means a lot, I haven't caught a pass from him to break a record yet, and to get that one was amazing."  "I'm happy to be able to say I'm part of his record-setting career...You always want to be a part of that. Even though you're going to be a part of his legacy, to be in the record books with him makes it even better," said a satisfied Donald Driver.

"Donald and I have a great history together, he goes down in my record books for a lot of things." Favre said.

Lammi Sports Management's Devin Hester and his marketing efforts were the focus of Vaughn McClure story in Sunday's Chicago Tribune.

Devin followed up the article with another game changing performance in Sunday night's 37-34 overtime victory over the Denver Broncos. Hester finished with two return touchdowns and over 200 yards in returns.

Donald Driver visits friends at WTMJ Radio in studio for their weekly "Donal Driver Show"Lammi Sports Management exclusive client Donald Driver recently stopped by to visit his friends at WTMJ Radio in studio for their weekly “Donald Driver Show.”  Donald joined 620 AM’s “Green House Show” hosts Jonathan Green, Phil Cianciola, and Bill Michaels to talk about the Packers exciting start to the season and the Goodwill Retro Rendezvous event that he was attending.

The Donald Driver Show takes place each and every Tuesday during the NFL season at 3:20 pm as part of 620 WTMJ’s “Green House Show”.  Donald breaks down the previous game and gives listeners his take on hot topics from around the NFL.

With a strong start to his 2007 season, Lammi Sports Management exclusive client Devin Hester was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September. Hester led the NFL in September with 602 yards of kick return yards, that were highlighted by a 73-yard punt return and 95-yard kickoff returns for touchdowns.

Hester, the only NFL player to return both a kickoff and a punt this year, shared his honor with his teammates saying, "Once you get around a group of guys that we have on the special teams - Guys that you put all your faith in and you spend every day with, it's so easy to go out there and return punts." Devin has now won two straight NFC Special Teams Player of the Month awards, also being honored in December of last season.

Donald's first of six receptions surpassed Antonio Freeman's previous club record of 213 receptions.

"To be the all-time reception leader at Lambeau, words can't even explain it," Driver said after an exciting win over the San Diego Chargers. "You've got so many great guys that have played here, from Don Hutson to Max McGee, Bill Schroeder, Robert Brooks, Sterling Sharpe, James Lofton, Antonio Freeman, the list goes on and on...I never thought to myself that I'd be able to accomplish so many goals."

Driver's six receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown also moved him closer to additional franchise records.

- Driver's 5-yard touchdown reception from Brett Favre was the duo's 36th career touchdown combination. Favre and Driver now stand third on the Packers' all-time list of TD duos, surpassing Lynn Dickey and Paul Coffman.

- Donald recorded his 17th career 100-yard receiving game, moving him into a tie for 3rd place all-time in franchise history.

- Donald has a reception in 83 consecutive games, the second longest streak in franchise history behind Sterling Sharpe's 103 consecutive games.

Exclusive Lammi Sports Management client Devin Hester added to his legacy of being a human highlight reel in the 20-10 Bears' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.  Devin’s day included a 73-yard punt return for a touchdown, his fourth career punt return that is top’s in Bears’ history, and a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that was negated by a penalty.  Hester racked up 143 yards in punt returns; marking the third time in just 18 regular season games he has exceeded the 100-yard mark.   

Devin’s historic day caught the eye on both national and local media outlets.  “He’s faster than light, more elusive than world peace and able to change directions like an embattled U.S. senator.   He’s so quick, he’ll make the Hall of Fame two years before he actually retires”, says Chicago Sun-Times beat writer Mike MulliganJay Mariotti, ESPN Around the Horn TV Panelist and Sun-Times Columnist, described Devin the only way he knew how saying “As far as I’m concerned, a Bears game can be reduced to nothing but a series of Heaven Devin kick returns and it would be worth the heavy admission price.”

July 12, 2007Devin Hestor wins ESPY Award for "Breakthrough Athlete of the Year"

Lammi Sports Management congratulates client Devin Hester on winning his first ESPY Award at ESPN's annual award show. Hester was awarded the ESPY for Breakthrough Athlete of the Year.  Hester’s sensational rookie season included an NFL record year for kick returns for touchdowns, a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to start Super Bowl XLI and culminated with spot in the NFL’s Pro Bowl.  Devin edged out nominees Kevin Durant, Ryan Howard, and Morgan Pressel to take home the award.

3rd annual Donald Driver Youth Footbal CampDonald Driver held his 3rd annual Donald Driver Youth Football Camp this weekend.  Held at Brown Deer High School, the camp gave youngsters from all over Southeastern Wisconsin the opportunity to learn from a Pro Bowl Wide Receiver as well as top high school coaches. 

Over 150 kids learned the basics in blocking and tackling, in passing, catching and running the football.  Tips were also offered for warming up, taking care of your body and maintaining good grades in the classroom.

Donald also hosts annual camps in Green Bay and his native Houston.

Rick Majerus named new Head Coach at Saint Louis UniversityLammi Sports Management client Rick Majerus was introduced today as the new Head Coach at Saint Louis University.  Majerus agreed to a six-year contract with the Billikens after spending the previous three seasons as an analyst with ESPN.  Rick brings to Saint Louis a record of 422-147 with 15 postseason appearances, including the 1998 National Runner-up.  Saint Louis University is the fourth head coaching job for Majerus who has coached at Marquette, Ball State and Utah in addition to being an assistant to the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks.

Lammi Sports Management client Donald Driver will be honored for his contributions and service to the community at the JB Awards Banquet on April 12th in Washington, D.C.  Driver is one of ten NFL players who will receive a JB Award.  JB Award honorees are nominated by their teammates for their commitment to excellence on the field as well as in the community. James Brown, of CBS Sports, for whom the awards are named after, personally selects the ten finalists for the Byron “Whizzer” White Award, the NFL Players Association's highest honor. The awards are presented by Brown along with Michael Wilbon of ESPN's “Pardon the Interruption” and the NFL Players Association.

The Dallas Cowboys have signed Lammi Sports Management client Brad Johnson to a 3-year contract today.  Brad, who was 13-10 as a starter with the rebuilding Minnesota Vikings, looks to bring veteran leadership and experience to a young Cowboys offense alongside Tony Romo.

The NFL off season is underway and teams are looking to upgrade their respective rosters through free agency and trades.  Lammi Sports Management exclusive client George Foster and Denver Broncos teammate Tatum Bell were part of a three player trade to the Detroit Lions today.  After finishing the 2006 season with the worst rushing offense in the NFL and allowing the most sacks in the NFC, the Lions filled two very big holes by adding Foster to stabilize the offensive line and Bell to bring an explosive rushing attack to Detroit.  Foster and Bell were also co-hosts along with Broncos' All-Pro Champ Bailey on Football Playbook, a Lammi Sports Management television program that airs on FSN Rocky Mountain.

Lammi Sports Management client Donald Driver was the first Sharpie ambassador to submit his signature for Sharpie's "Autographs for Action" wall during Super Bowl week in Miami.  "Autographs for Action" is a program in which Sharpie is collecting 1 million autographs to raise 1 million dollars in school supplies for students and schools across the country.  "A simple autograph can make a huge impact," said Driver . "Together, we can improve people's situations and change lives, all with a signature”.

Continuing to haul in awards for his record breaking season, Donald Driver was named to the All-NFC team by the writers and editors at Pro Football Weekly.  Donald has already been named a starter in the NFL Pro Bowl which will take place in Hawaii on February 10, 2007.

Lammi Sports Management client and Green Bay Packer Legend Santana Dotson signed autographs for fans on behalf of Pepsi in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The appearance was held as a part of the grand opening of Dodgeville's new Wal-Mart Supercenter. Proceeds from the event benefited the Children's Miracle Network.
