Donald Driver Red SmithAwards Season…In the midst of a legendary career, Donald Driver has won nearly every award associated with the Green Bay Packers, in January he added another, the 2010 Red Smith Award.  Past recipients include Super Bowl XXXI architect, Ron Wolf, Miracle on Ice Gold Medal Winner Mark Johnson, Rose Bowl Champion Barry Alvarez and Kohler Company President Herbert Kohler.  Donald was joined that evening by Main Speaker Jay Bilas of ESPN and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Whitey Herzog, who was presented with the 2010 “Nice Guy” Award.

Dan HamptonWhere we’ve been…Nothing helps your event stand out in a crowded marketplace like a marquee name.  Throughout early 2010 Lammi Sports Management helped numerous groups produce events that left attendees with great memories.  Super Bowl Champion Santana Dotson headlined JDRF’s Annual Monopoly Gala, Bears Hall of Famer Dan Hampton was the featured guest of MillerCoors Super Party and Packer James Jones visited Oak Creek High School on behalf of the BloodCenter of Wisconsin.

SoftballPut me in Coach…The 3rd Annual Donald Driver Charity Softball Game Presented by Kwik Trip will be held on Sunday June 6th in Appleton.  The Annual Packers Offense vs. Defense Softball Game has become a summer tradition in the Fox Valley.  Once again proceeds from the game will go to area charities and the Donald Driver Foundation.  Last year fans packed Timber Rattlers Stadium and watched their Packer heroes battle each other for a good cause.  In 2009, game day check presentations to Goodwill and Special Olympics Wisconsin totaled $25,000.  Fans from across the state can also check out the action even if they cannot attend the game as the game will be televised statewide on the Inside the Huddle Network.
