In two short seasons Devin Hester has become the most exciting player in the NFL.  Whenever he touches the ball, Chicago Bear games become “Must See TV”. After a brilliant rookie season Devin continued to run through the record books in 2007, setting a new record for return men with six touchdowns and earning himself his second All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections in as many years.  Devin also continued to grow as an all-around football player while being used as a Wide Receiver, highlighted by an 81-yard touchdown reception versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Hester’s exploits on the field have left him in high demand off of it.  Devin has been featured in national campaigns for EA Sports, Campbell’s Soup, Samsung and Best Buy.  He became the first player in history to be assigned a 100 rating in the popular EA Sports “Madden NFL” video game.   He also took home the 2007 ESPY for “Best Breakthrough Athlete”.

In 2006, Devin Hester took the NFL by storm with an explosive and record-breaking rookie season.  Regarded as one of the NFL’s most dangerous and exciting players, Devin wasted no time making his mark, taking a punt return back for a touchdown in his first career game. Devin’s outstanding play continued and carried the Chicago Bears right into Super Bowl XLI.  Hester opened the Super Bowl by returning the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, the first time in NFL history that has been accomplished.  Devin Hester on the practice field during Training Camp

Breaking three NFL records in his rookie season, Devin quickly got his name in the record books.  Devin set the NFL record for most touchdown returns in a season (6), most kick returns touchdowns in a season (5), and most touchdown returns by a rookie (6).  Devin also tied the record for the NFL’s longest play, when he returned a missed field goal attempt 108 yards for a touchdown against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.  .
