Brad Johnson
Brad Johnson as endorser for "Got Milk"
campaign.
Brad Johnson began a new chapter in his successful career with one of the NFL's most storied franchises. On March 6, 2007 Brad signed a 3-year contract to play for the Dallas Cowboys. A former Super Bowl champion, Brad brought valuable experience and knowledge to the Cowboys quarterback corps that earned the Cowboys the best record in the NFC.
In 2006 through 14 games started, Brad Johnson once again had his team positioned for a possible play-off berth before a quarterback change was made. 2006 saw Brad fall just one game short of continuing his personal record of always having a winning record for each coach he played for during his NFL career. Operating a team devoid of offensive weapons took its toll on Johnson, who just one year before, had the Vikings playing some of the best football in the NFL during the final two months of the season.
Brad displayed his tremendous accuracy in 2005 by throwing for 12 touchdowns gainst just 4 interceptions. His passer rating of 88.9 (3 rd in the NFC) and completion percentage of 62.6 (4 th in the NFC) showed that Brad is still among the best in the league. In taking over a 2-5 Vikings team that had just lost Daunte Culpepper to injury, Brad led the team to 6 wins in a row to finish 7-2 as the starting quarterback.
In Tampa, Brad will forever be remembered for leading the Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl Championship. Brad finished that landmark season with the highest quarterback ranking in the NFC. Always one of the leagues most accurate passers, Brad is the only quarterback in NFL history to post ten consecutive seasons with a completion percentage of 60 percent or higher (minimum 100 attempts). Steve Young and Joe Montana are next in line at just seven seasons at that completion benchmark. Despite his personal achievements, Brad never forgets to credit those around him. Brad outlines the importance of camaraderie and other winning attributes in his new children's book Play with Passion . "Your best teammates are guys you can trust, who play with passion and put the team first."
Brad's success has been achieved through his undeniable drive and unparalleled determination. He was raised with a distinct competitive edge and the knowledge that to be the best, you must practice like the best. “I think there's a misperception because I'm very polite, but there's a little fight and drive in me.” His competitiveness, fight and drive were further showcased in front of the worldwide audience watching Super Bowl XXXVII.

Brad's status as Super Bowl Champion continues to land him in the limelight. He has appeared on Good Morning America, at Walt Disneyland's Main Street Parade, and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Additional national exposure has been garnered by Brad by appearing on the Wheaties box cover, in a “Got Milk” Mustache campaign, and in a “What's next” Disney commercial which also featured his wife Nikki and son Max.
Brad adds a legacy of charitable giving to his on field accomplishments. His charitable involvement includes Muscular Dystrophy Association, Children's Miracle Network, Brad's Buddies and Gillette Children's Hospital. Brad hosts two golf outings that benefit the Eblen Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. He is active in United Way's Hometown Huddle and Toys for Tots. Brad and his wife Nikki are the proud parents of Max and Jake.
